Altrad NSG has announced the promotion of Tim Walker to Director.

Tim has been with the company for 13 years, joining straight from Nottingham Trent University after gaining a BSc Honours degree and a post graduate certificate in Management.

In his new role as Director, Tim will support Managing Director Mike Carr in overseeing the day to day running of Altrad's NSG's operations across the UK. Tim will also lead the business's HR, Health and Safety and Project Management departments.

Altrad NSG is one of the UK's leading providers of industrial services focused on building, maintaining, overhauling and decommissioning the nation's infrastructure.

Tim said: "Altrad NSG is enjoying a sustained period of growth and my involvement in leading our business operations will allow Managing Director Mike Carr to continue and enhance Altrad NSG's strategic growth, through acquisitions and new market opportunities across a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, transport, nuclear and social housing."

Tim started his career with Altrad NSG's administration department at Ratcliffe Power Station in Nottingham. He then spent four years as project manager, working across the nuclear, construction, pharmaceutical and power generation fields, before moving to Altrad NSG's Runcorn office as commercial manager, looking after key clients Ineos Chlor Vinyls and Ineos Enterprises. Tim was also responsible for managing Altrad NSG's satellite offices across the North West.

Managing Director Mike Carr said: "Tim has worked his way up to become an integral part of our continued growth. He has excellent project management skills and has built up strong client relationships. Tim's promotion to Director will bolster our ability to manage a wide variety of projects and bring best value to our clients."
