Altrad NSG supports local preservation society at Liverpool's magnificent Albert Dock

For many years the historic tug-tender DANIEL ADAMSON was laid up in the ship dock at The Boat Museum, Ellesmere Port.  During February 2004, the intention of her owners the Manchester Ship Canal Company, to break her up became known.  This led to the formation of the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society.  The Society has made great strides towards reaching its goal of returning the Daniel Adamson to operation condition.

In May 2014 "The Danny" was moved into the Albert Dock to the berth outside of the Mersey Maritime Museum where she will remain for the summer months and will be available for public inspection.

Altrad NSG are proud sponsors of the Daniel Adamson, helping restore Britain's historic last steam tug-tender and saving her from the scrapyard.
