Will Gretton joins as Health and Safety Manager, while John Coupe has been appointed as Transport and Logistics Manager.

Both Will and John will be based at NSG UK's Deeside headquarters, reporting to Managing Director Mike Carr.

Will, 33, joins from the Health and Safety Executive, where he spent seven years working in site inspection. He will work closely with Compliance Manager Howard Satchell to further advance NSG UK's RoSPA Gold winning health and safety record, as well as taking a strategic role in the development of the company's health and safety programme.

Will, from Holyhead, said: "This is a great opportunity for me to make a mark in the private sector after seven years with the HSE, and I am delighted to be joining NSG UK and to have a new challenge in industry. My role will be to oversee and manage the day to day running of the health and safety department and identifying any areas of improvement at our sites across the UK.

"NSG UK has an outstanding health and safety record and I look forward to working with the senior management to build on this."

John, 47, will oversee a wide range of transport and logistics issues, including stock control, deliveries and site audits.

John, from Preston, said: "I have been employed in similar roles in the scaffolding industry for over 20 years at firms such as Interserve, and will use this experience to ensure that the business makes the best use of materials and that our vehicles are where they need to be and meeting our project needs."

MD Mike Carr said: "These are vital roles which are necessary for the business to perform to its optimum level. Both John and Will have a wealth of experience and expertise in their respective sectors which we are sure will prove beneficial to our business, and we are delighted to welcome them to the team."
